Update (May 19, 2014):
It's a good day to be Lindsay Lohan, a sentence we don't often write. LiLo won $150,000 in her lawsuit against clothing company D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries, reports TMZ, and, in a big win for her personal sanity, girlfriend doesn't have to testify about her miscarriage as requested by D.N.A.M. Now don't go spending all that money in one place, Lindz.
Update (May 11, 2014):
We can't really blame anyone for questioning anything from Lindsay, it's always a gamble to know what's real and not, but she swore under oath in new court documents that she did have a miscarriage.
According to a May 11 (Mother's Day, no less) TMZ report, Lindsay had been given a reprieve from a $5 million lawsuit over her clothing line while she was in rehab, but she failed to respond even after she got out, and she lost the case. Now she wants to rectify the damage, and wrote in new legal docs, "I have been overwhelmed since leaving rehab and dealing with my sobriety and a miscarriage."
Now that it's on the record, she's under oath with all the penalties of perjury. She could face jail time if it turned out she lied — but then again, how could they prove it at this point?
A miscarriage is a devastating (and usually private) thing for any woman, including one with all of Lindsay's problems. So if that is truly something she suffered this past year, she has our sympathy.
Lindsay Lohan recently revealed she had a miscarriage while filming her OWN show, but was she lying to excuse her slacker behavior on set? According to RadarOnline.com, that’s exactly what’s going on.
Insiders close to the actress turned reality star are worried that she’s making the whole thing up to avoid taking responsibility for the two weeks of production she missed while the show was still being filmed.
“Lindsay was never pregnant during filming the reality show for OWN, or in the months after,” an insider says. “Lindsay knew she was being perceived as a total slacker, not showing up on time for photoshoots, call times, and refusing to shoot. So this is what Lindsay does. She lies!”
We’re not sure what to believe. We’d hate to think that Lindsay (or anyone) would fabricate something as traumatic as a miscarriage, but it does happen — and with Lindsay’s track record for erratic behavior, it wouldn’t exactly be shocking to find out that it really was a lie.
“Her family and friends had no clue about her ‘pregnancy’ and subsequent miscarriage. Lindsay is once again her worst enemy,” the source adds.
And after a second insider says that Lindsay’s definitely relapsed — meaning she’s never acted like someone who was pregnant, i.e., not smoking and drinking — and this could affect her judgment as far as deciding that faking a pregnancy is an acceptable thing to do.
Whether the miscarriage was a lie or not, we just want Lindsay to be healthy again so she can be restored to her former Mean Girls glory! We were hoping she’d finally gotten it together. Maybe there’s still hope?
What do you think — was Lindsay really pregnant, or did she make the whole thing up?
