Were the Housewives Too Mean to Brandi Glanville in Season 2, Episode 4?

In Episode 4 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the talk of the fundraiser was crutch-walking Brandi Glanville. Even though we all suspected Lisa Vanderpump would be the first to stand off in a corner and smack talk over Brandi’s friendship with Cedric Martinez, it was Kyle Richards who had a field day with the Brandi bashing.

After the episode aired, Kyle took to her Bravo blog and wrote: “Lisa and I are very close, so I felt protective because I knew that this was an uncomfortable moment for her.” When it came to their laughing huddle, she claims that Brandi could definitely not hear them, and even reveals, “Although I joked about it [wearing a stiletto on crutches], I have to say I would probably do the same!!”

So, what was Brandi’s take on all of this? In her own Bravo blog, the former model defends her stiletto wearing, and applauds Lisa for having the decency to talk to her face-to-face. As for the other women? “They are owed some catty b---hiness coming back at them!”

Brandi, of course, wants a little more sympathy for what she’s been through these past few years with juggling a public divorce and trying to raise her kids. But we have a feeling the Housewives feel the heat. Lisa blogged, “Were we standoffish? I suppose we were. Maybe it wasn't our finest hour.”
