When Does ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Midseason Premiere Air?
The Walking Dead Season 6 began on October 11, 2015 and already we have a date for the Season 6 midseason premiere. which always takes place after an unfortunately long winter hiatus.
As far as we know, the first eight episodes of Season 6 will air consecutively, meaning the midseason finale — which will likely include these crucial deaths — should air on Sunday, November 29, at which point TWD goes into hibernation until well into the new year.

While the wait is often pretty gruelling since the midseason finales are always action-packed, we now have confirmation the show will return with Season 6, Episode 9 on February 14, 2016. Happy Valentine’s Day, y’all!
This lovely announcement was first made at the TWD Season 6 fan premiere in Madison Square Garden in New York City on October 9. Chris Hardwick confirmed the good news last night, October 11, during the Season 6 premiere of his companion chat show, Talking Dead.
If the back eight episodes air on consecutive Sundays, that means the Season 6 finale will fall on April 3, 2016. Mark those calendars, people!
The Walking Dead Season 6 airs Sunday nights at at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
