When Is the American Idol 2014 Premiere?

We're well into a new year and you know what that means: a brand new American Idol! There's been a ton of buzz surrounding a huge revamp for Season 13 (including the addition of new judge and piece of eye candy Harry Connick Jr).

Although news about Idol's next installment was slow for the latter part of last year, 2014 has changed all that. Fox is all ramped up and ready to go for round 13 and we are too! Tune in tonight (Wednesday, January 15), for the two-hour premiere (8 to 10 p.m.) followed by another two hours the very next evening (Thursday, January 16).

We'll be in the midst of auditions for the foreseeable future (read: at least until the end of January) so here's a look back at where this season sought out the nation's top talent:
