When Is the Game of Thrones Season 4 Premiere?

Wait — you mean you haven't had the Game of Thrones Season 4 premiere date memorized for months? Well, OK then. We're here to help. The season premiere, Season 4, Episode 1 ("Two Swords") airs on April 6, 2014, at the normal Sunday 9 p.m. slot on HBO.

As in the past, the deadly schemes of Westeros will be followed by the palate cleanser of Veep's far more LOL-worthy take on politics at 10 p.m. After that comes new comedy Silicon Valley at 10:30. All in all, a solid night of TV not that we'd expect anything less.

So, what do you have to look forward to when Season 4 returns? Well, the official synopsis of "Two Swords" gives us a taste of what we can expect from the premiere episode: "Tyrion welcomes a guest to King’s Landing. At Castle Black, Jon Snow finds himself unwelcome. Dany is pointed to Meereen, the mother of all slave cities. Arya runs into an old friend."
