Which The Voice Coach Has Sold the Most Records Worldwide?

There’s no doubt that the coaches on The Voice are A-list, top-selling musicians — it’s one of the things that set the show apart from its competitors when the show debuted in 2010. But which coach can claim the most record sales in the world? That’d be Shakira.

With more than 75 million albums sold worldwide, Shakira’s record sales don’t lie anymore than her famous hips do. However, only 32 percent of Viggle LIVE! users correctly identified Shak-Attack as the top-seller in her cohort. Coming in just slightly ahead of her, Usher was the best guess for 34 percent of users, while 21 percent chose Blake Shelton, and only 13 percent selected Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.

Are you a total music and TV junkie? You need to get with Viggle!

Though Shakira can claim more record sales than her fellow coaches, Usher isn’t far behind, with an estimated 65 million sold. However, the R&B singer hasn’t released a new album since 2012, while Shakira will release her tenth this month. You gotta be a hustler if you want to beat out this Colombian superstar!

You can be a superstar in your own right when you download Viggle. Use the free app to earn points for watching your favorite shows or listening to the latest hits, which you can redeem for awesome rewards. Sure, it’s not a platinum record, but it’s still a pretty sweet deal.
