Which 2014 Emmy Nominee Wants a Role on The Walking Dead?
Who wouldn’t want a role on The Walking Dead? Plenty of actors and actresses would love to appear on the show, but a certain TV star enjoying her first Emmy nomination may be thinking of enrolling in Zombie School.
Allison Tolman is a nominee for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her role as Deputy Molly Solverson on FX’s Fargo. She’s now looking for a new gig since the Fargo Season 1 cast is not returning for Season 2.
"I don't know what my next dream role gig is," Allison told E!, "but I have so so many shows that I'm like, ‘Oh my god, can I guest star on New Girl?! Like, that would be amazing!’ Can I please guest star and be a zombie on The Walking Dead? And then there are the shows that my friends are fans of. My boyfriend loves Archer. He's a crazy Archer fan. So he's like, ‘Please do a guest spot on Archer!' And I'm like, hey, I'll do my best."
If she gets in with the Walking Dead crowd, she may also be able to swing something with Archer, since Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene) recently voiced a character on the show.
Now that she’s an Emmy nominee she may want to consider aiming higher than just a walker — not that zombies aren’t awesome — and try to be one of the many new characters joining Season 5 this year. They may still have some roles open in the second half.
What do you think? Are you a Fargo fan? Would you like to see Allison join the show?
The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres in October on AMC.
