Which TV Show Does Shonda Rhimes Think Is “Bold” and “Much Needed”?

When it comes to television, there’s no denying that Shonda Rhimes is an expert. Not only has she created many amazing shows — including Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and Private Practice — gut she has great taste in TV, too. (Cough, Game of Thrones, cough.)

Her latest favorite is a new show that she thinks is “bold” and “much needed,” and she showered the creator with praise on Twitter late last night.

So, what is the lucky show in question? ABC Family’s The Fosters, which centers around a lesbian bi-racial couple who raise biological and adoptive children together. After the premiere last night, she wrote:

Peter replied almost immediately after, writing, “Praise from Caesar! #humbled! Thank you, Shonda!” We have to agree — once you receive Shonda’s approval, the show will go on for at least half a dozen seasons. OK, maybe not, but that’s how it must feel.

Did you tune in for The Fosters last night? What did you think? Sound off below!
