Who Will Go Home Next in Dancing With the Stars Season 20, Week 5? (POLL)

Congrats to the final nine couples of Dancing With the Stars Season 20 — you made it to Disney Week! That’s what’s coming up this Monday, April 13 in Week 5. But, alas, someone has to turn into a pumpkin at the end of that night, based on the scores and votes from Week 4.

Here’s the Week 4 Most Memorable Year leaderboard:

Willow Shields and Mark Ballas — 39

Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough — 36

Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy — 35

Riker Lynch and Allison Holker — 34

Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson — 34

Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess — 32

Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev — 30

Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani — 28

Chris Soules and Witney Carson — 27

From here, it looks like the bottom three names are most in danger. Chris may get a boost since he’s in the Obviously Needs Votes zone and he was once again given extra low scores — including a 6 from Len Goodman — despite dancing a Rumba for his fiancee. That had to sting. Patti had a showstopping Jazz that got the crowd going, even if the scores weren’t as effusive as the praise. Patti is a great entertainer, but she’s not on the same level of dancing as most of the other competitors. Does that matter? At this point, we’re still guessing no.

Suzanne may be the one to go this week, after a Three’s Company-themed Foxtrot that got 7s and put her just one point above the bottom of the leaderboard, which is a dangerous place to be. You’re not so obviously in need of help and sometimes that spot gets overlooked. Plus, Suzanne and Tony were declared “safe” and not “in jeopardy,” and even though “in jeopardy” doesn’t actually mean anything, fans often come away thinking that couple almost went home. The judges and hosts openly pushed for the couples “in jeopardy” to get votes, so it may actually be a bonus to get that designation. Chris, Suzanne, and Patti were all declared safe with no drama, so they may not have gotten the kind of vote boosts that Riker and Alison got from their fans, who probably believed that Rallison (“not necessarily the bottom two”) almost went home.

The spring season has a fun group, but someone has to go. Sadly, we predict that Suzanne and Tony will leave on Disney Night. Do you agree or disagree? Share your prediction in the poll.
