Who Got Eliminated on So You Think You Can Dance Season 9 on July 18, 2012?

Tonight's episode of So You Think You Can Dance gave us everything from Bollywood to Broadway, and everything in between. We were even treated to an awesome performance from the dancers of Step Up Revolution, including the lovely Kathryn McCormick, who stars as the film's lead.

But the stress of eliminations lingered in the air throughout the competition, as four contestants would face the end of the road, no matter how well they danced.

After all 10 couples performed, a total of six dancers were at risk of elimination, a decision based on America's votes from the previous week. But America didn't ultimately decide who would be spared — as Cat Deeley revealed, the judges had already learned the results earlier that morning, and were tasked with selecting two dancers to send through to next week's competition.

The six dancers in danger of going home — based on America's votes — were Witney Carson, Alexa Anderson, Janaya French, Nick Bloxsom-Carter, Daniel Baker, and Chehon Wespi-Tschopp.

In the end, the judges used their two saves on 18-year-old ballroom dancer Witney Carson and 23-year-old ballet dancer Chehon Wespi-Tschopp. Although we're not too surprised by tonight's results, we're a bit irked that none of the contestants were given the chance to dance for their lives.

Do you agree with Nigel's decision, or did he save the wrong dancers? Should he at least have given the dancers the opportunity to perform solos? Tell us your thoughts below!

Did the judges get it right?
