Who Got Eliminated on The Voice Season 2 on April 24, 2012?

After last night's elimination of soft-spoken ladies man James Massone and bowtie enthusiast Pip on The Voice Season 2, the last thing we wanted to do was bid adieu to more contestants. But we can't forget this is a competition, and there can be only one winner.

Tonight, April 24, we said goodbye to one additional contestant from Team Adam Levine and one additional contestant from Team Cee Lo Green.

After the nationwide vote, America saved former Mouseketeer Tony Lucca from Team Adam and comeback kid Jamar Rogers from Team Cee Lo.

Team Adam's Bottom Two

The bottom two on Team Adam were nursing student Mathai, who sang "Cowboy Casanova" by Carrie Underwood, and insurance worker Katrina Parker, who sang "Perfect" by P!nk.

While the judges applauded Mathai for her fearlessness and natural stage presence, Katrina received the highest praise, especially from Christina Aguilera, who said she can't wait to hear Katrina sing original material.

Who Does Adam Save?

It was a heartbreaking decision for Adam, who developed a strong bond with both contestants.

Although he fell in love with Mathai's infectious spirit, it wasn't enough to put her through to the semifinals. Adam saved Katrina, who went from "unpolished diamond" to breakout star.

Team Cee Lo's Bottom Two

On Team Cee Lo, the bottom two were Hawaii native Cheesa, who sang "Already Gone" by Kelly Clarkson and seasoned rocker Juliet Simms, who sang "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia.

Blake, Christina, and Adam all agreed that Cheesa's performance was a bit flat, but couldn't deny her power. The judges gushed over Juliet, and Christina even offered a bit of constructive criticism to help the rocker in her future performances.

Who Does Cee Lo Save?

The decision was a painful one for Cee Lo, who has enjoyed working with two very different and unique talents.

Although he had nothing but positive things to say about Cheesa's classically-trained sound, it was Juliet Simms' untamed rockstar vibe that won him over. He sent the Florida native on to the semifinals, eliminating Cheesa.

Congratulations to Tony, Jamar, Katrina, and Juliet. We can't wait to see more of you as the competition progresses!

Tune in next week for more live show performances on April 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
