Why she might be “A”: We have to point out that Spencer was the only one of the Liars who knew Hanna was going to the dentist’s office. Hmmm. Plus, Andrew says to Spencer, “Wait up, killer” — and on this show, nothing is ever just a coincidence.
Why she might not be “A”: C’mon, it’s Spencer. We won’t stop screaming for approximately 11 weeks straight if we find out Spencer had been torturing her friends for all this time. However, we are learning more about how Spencer’s family is entwined in weird ways with Ali’s, so we can almost imagine Spencer having a vendetta against Ali.
3. Alison DiLaurentis
Why she might be “A”: Ezra’s text to someone about an Ali “setback” could mean that he wants to torment Ali — or maybe he just wants to save the Liars from her because Ali or her twin is Big “A.” Plus, the bottom of the map at the end of the episode says “A & C,” which could stand for “Ali and Courtney,” who is her twin in the books. Maybe Ali has an evil twin after all.
Why she might not be “A”: Well, a lot of people are still convinced that Ezra is Big “A,” so there’s that. Plus, we still don’t know if Ali even had a twin.
Why he might be “A”: As we mentioned, that tweet about Ali seemed extremely ominous. We’re also worried that his secretive meeting with Mona was a bad sign, given that Mona appears to be dating Mike in order to spend time in Aria’s house. Maybe Mona is helping Ezra to not make the mistakes she made when she was “A”?
Why he might not be “A”: At the moment, we’ve got a strong hunch that Ezra is Board Shorts and not Big “A” — on account of his interest in Board Shorts Ale and boysenberry pie. Frankly, the show is just being way too obvious about Ezra seeming to be “A.”
Why he might be “A”: We have a new top suspect on this list! Wren hasn’t appeared on the list yet this season, but he’s number one with a bullet (so to speak) this week, particularly because he would know how to properly drug Hanna at the dentist’s office. And the Hart and the Huntsman is a pub with British flags on the wall, which suggests it’s Wren’s stomping ground.
Why he might not be “A”: For starters, he’s supposedly in London with Melissa at the moment. So he would have to be extremely careful to not get spotted in Rosewood if he is indeed Big “A.” Plus, Wren hasn’t been on an episode this winter season, so we don’t know what to expect from the guy.
