Who Is “A”? Our Top 4 Suspects From Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 15

So, you’re still dying to know who else is on the “A” team on Pretty Little Liars. Don’t worry — we’ve got our crack team of sleuths on the case, analyzing every clue for your mystery-solving pleasure.

Here are some hints from Season 3, Episode 15: “Mona-Mania,” that may help us solve this thing for good!

And don't forget to check out our 10 Burning Questions from the episode for even more hints and clues.

4. Lucas Gottesman (Brendan Robinson)
Why he might be “A”: Lucas claims he’s being blackmailed and blah blah blah, but to us, it seems like he’s on the “A” team and has to give that blackmail story because Hanna caught him in the janitor’s room. Blowing up that shed sounds like an “A” move, as is taking an envelope from Jason which just might contain money for revealing Ali’s murderer. Your story doesn’t exactly check out, Lucas.

Why he might not be: Well, after seeing his adorable, action figure-filled room this week, we like the guy even more, so we don’t want him to be “A.” And his statement about Mona knowing he was selling test scores makes sense, since Mona has a way of knowing everyone’s secrets. So we’re willing to buy the “blackmail” story for the time being...

3. Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario)
Why she might be “A”: The more we think about the fact that Toby is on the “A” team, the more we think Spencer might be as well, since she’s just too perceptive to not have figured Toby out otherwise. And her quiz-off meltdown was so spontaneous it was almost as if she lost on purpose, possibly to help Mona get more established at the school. Spencer doesn’t just lose quiz-offs willy-nilly.

Why she might not be: It would certainly be messed up for any of the Liars to be on the “A” team. And the thought of Spencer giving the OK to slash Emily’s tires or do something to Aria’s dad kinda gives us the creeps. Still, there’s no question that Spencer is calculating, and we could potentially see those powers being used for evil.

2. Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding)
Why he might be “A”: At the end of the episode, Mona informs another “A” team member that Byron is leaving his office. And since we know how much Byron and Ezra have fought in the past, we would not be at all surprised if Ezra would want to get his revenge on the guy. Plus, what guy wouldn’t want to anonymously mess with his girlfriend’s meddlesome father?

Why he might not be: If he truly has feelings for Aria, it would be a bit messed up for Ezra to torture Byron, even if we’re learning that Byron isn’t exactly the greatest parent ever.

1. Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse)
Why she might be “A”: We could definitely imagine Ali wanting to hurt Byron, given she was blackmailing him about Meredith, along with the fact that he may have had a role in her death. And we could definitely see Alison wanting to freak out Paige by having her tires slashed, since we know these two were arch nemeses. Alison just can’t stop messing with Pigskin.

Why she might not be “A”: No, we don’t know that Ali or her twin are definitely still alive, but it’s seeming rather likely. So she’s the leading candidate for the time being.

None of them are "A"!

I think at least one of these people is involved.
