Why she might be “A”: CeCe’s sudden disappearance is suspicious, as is the fact that she probably has known all along about Ezra and Ali’s relationship. And the fact that Ali’s diary mentions Ambrose Pavilion reminds us that CeCe was with Spencer when there was a snake in Spencer’s dressing room in Season 3. So maybe CeCe has a thing for snakes?
Why she might not be: We don’t even know where CeCe is at this point, let alone what she’s been up to in her absence. And she’s been suspicious all along, so she might be too obvious of a choice for Big “A.”
Why he might be “A”: We see Wren’s prescription pad in Spencer’s bag, and since Wren is supposedly in London right now, we don’t think “A” could have recently stolen this from him. So it seems that Wren is at least helping “A” out. And as we learn more about Spencer’s addiction problem from two years ago, we’re wondering if Dr. Wren played some role in that as well.
Why he might not be: Typically, if this show gives out an obvious clue, it’s a red herring. So seeing Wren’s name on the pad probably means he wasn’t the one who planted it on Spencer.
Why she might be “A”: Some of Aria’s actions just don’t quite make sense this week, suggesting that she might indeed be “A.” Like, we don’t know why Aria took Ezra’s manuscript out while on the ski lift — unless she wanted him to knock it out of her hands, so someone on the “A” team could easily snatch it up from below.
Why she might not be: Well, “A” knows everyone’s secrets about everything, whereas Aria seems legitimately shocked that Ezra misled her about his relationship with Ali. Or maybe that’s just what Aria wants Ezra to think.

Why she might be “A”: The fact that Ezra definitely isn’t “A” definitely shakes things up on this list — and now we’re back to thinking that “A” is Ali again. So was that Ali — or her twin — at the snake house, whom Emily and Hanna mistakenly assumed was Spencer in a wig? We think it might be. (Unless it was Mona. Or CeCe. Or…)
Why she might not be: Right now, Ali looks like the most sensible choice. However, when we last saw a penniless Ali getting on the bus a few weeks ago, she did not seem like the type of person who could be an evil stalker.
