Grey’s Anatomy Stars Sign New Two-Year Contracts — Who’s Sticking Around?

Happy Friday, Grey’s Anatomy fans! A whole slew of stars have signed on to stick around Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. On the list: Justin Chambers (Alex Karev), Sara Ramirez (Callie Torres), Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey), and James Pickens, Jr. (Richard Webber).

The four have signed two-year deals with the show, meaning we’ll see them through Seasons 11 and 12, reports TVLine. Of course, ABC hasn’t actually renewed the show past the current season (No. 10, if you’d lost count) but signs like this seem to indicate it’s only a matter of time.

Earlier this year we heard Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) and Patrick Dempsey (Derek Shepherd), that core couple that started it all off, were intending to stick around for two years and we’re glad they’ll have company!

For awhile there it felt like everyone was jumping ship. We’ve already had to say goodbye to fan favorite and series original Sandra Oh (Cristina Yang) and know Gaius Charles (Shane Ross) and Tessa Ferrer (Leah Murphy) are on their way out, too. While we’ve yet to say goodbye to these stars on the series, the cast has already sent them off in style with an honest to goodness carnival. We can hardly wait to see how they celebrate when the series eventually comes to a close!

Are you excited to hear these four are sticking around, or are you wondering where their stories could go from here? Tell us in the comments below!
