Who Topped Shay Mitchell’s Best Dressed List at the 2014 Oscars?
Shay Mitchell was in top tweeting form during Sunday night’s Oscars ceremony. As host of the HelloGiggles Twitter party, the Pretty Little Liarsactress shared her insights into the best fashion, wins, and overall moments from the night. She also picked her favorite fan submissions for categories like “Best Fake Cry” and “Best Red Carpet Pose.” But who topped Shay’s “Best Dressed” on the actual red carpet? Read on to find out!
“Best mother daughter moment: Goldie Hawn watching her daughter cross the stage. Kate Hudson =#BestDressed#HGparty#Oscars,” Shay tweeted, referencing the moment when the legendary comedy actress saw her daughter Kate Hudson walk across the stage to present an award. In fact, both mother and daughter were presenters at the event, and they both look gorgeous.
Kate was definitely a standout, donning a stunning white Atelier Versace beaded gown for the event, complete with cape and shoulder pads. She was rocking glam side-swept curls and a smoky eye to give the ensemble an old-school glamour feel. We loved it! Good choice, Shay.
Goldie, an Oscar nominee herself, showed up to the event in a gorgeous golden gown with fitted bodice, on the arm of long-time partner Kurt Russell. Fashion sense may be genetic in this family! Kate and Goldie weren’t the only family Shay was tweeting about last night.
She actually named another celebrity son and his mother “Best Family Look.” Can you guess who it was?: “Best family look: Camila Alves , Matthew Mcconaughey and his mom look unreal! #PastelPink#HGparty#Oscars,” Shay tweeted. It was a great night for the Dallas Buyers Club actor. He won “Best Actor” for his role in the film — but we’re sure he holds Shay’s “Best Family Look” in equal esteem.
