Like any great show, the relationships on Grey's constantly have us on our toes. Here's a recap of the latest couples going strong, the couples dying slow, painful deaths, and the couples whose love has been brought back to life (for another episode at least).
On, and Headed to Africa: Callie and Arizona When Arizona won the prestigious Carter Madison Grant, everyone celebrated — everyone, that is, except Callie. It wasn't that Callie wasn't proud (at least, she better have been!), but Arizona accepting the grant would mean Arizona going to Africa. Suffice it to say, Callie wasn't thrilled about the idea of a transcontinental-long-distance relationship. So after a requisite amount of bickering, Callie decided to go with her.
Off, Because Death Did Them Part: Mary and Bill It was a twist that no one saw coming — not even Bailey, a doctor who presumably has seen it all. It was a routine operation, and one that Mary should have recovered from effortlessly. But, for some freak reason, she never woke up and stayed in a coma until Bill made the gut-wrenching decision to take her off life support. If there is a silver lining to this tragic turn of events, it's that the shootings inspired them to seize the days they had left and to travel around the world.
