But Kandi and Todd are not on their honeymoon right now, and Kandi explained the situation through an Instagram post/video.
“Good afternoon!” she wrote on Sunday, April 6. “I woke up feeling blessed & highly favored this morning & I hope you did too! I just wanted to say thank you for all of your well wishes prayers for @todd167 & I. I know people are asking why am I on IG when I should be on my honeymoon. Well @todd167's has to go out of town to set up a show his company is producing for a network that's just starting production this week. We're gonna do a quick getaway next weekend.”
Kandi added, “Although I would have loved to take one of those long honeymoons & fly out the day after the wedding, anyone that watched #RHOA knows that I wanted Todd to produce his own shows & work for his self & that dream is coming true so I'm not complaining! ???? So send him some love & congrats on his show being picked up as well!”
It’s good to see her supporting her man, but she hashtagged “#EvenThoughItMeansHeWillBeInLAfor5months,” which means they’re going to do the long-distance/commuting/visiting thing. But at least he’s working hard (ahem, Mama Joyce) and Kandi is excited for the future.
The song in the background of the Instagram video below is “Forever Love” from the A Mother’s Love soundtrack, and Kandi said it’s the song that describes her love with Todd the best. “Go to KandiOnline.com & order now!” she wrote of the soundtrack. “The official release is Tuesday! #imexcited #imanewlywed #thetuckers #igottagobackandforthfromATLtoLAfor5months #LifeOfAWife.”
Congrats to The Tuckers! And good luck on that ATL-LA commute.
