Why Is DWTS All-Stars Only an Hour Long Tonight, October 22?

Sorry, Dancing With the Stars Season 15 All-Stars fans. Tonight’s episode will get cut short after the one-hour mark. Are you wondering why we have to live without an extra hour of DWTS goodness?

DWTS will only be an hour long because the Presidential Debates will be taking place at 9 p.m. tonight. Half of the couples will dance their dances this night, and Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough’s “Call Me Maybe” group will also perform their Freestyle.

On Tuesday, October 23, the “Results Show” will be canned in favor of a one-hour extra performance show starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT. We’ll see the rest of the couples dance, as well as Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd’s “Gangnam Style” group Freestyle. There will be no Results Show this week and the scores will be moved to factor into next week’s elimination.

Catch a new episode of Dancing With the Stars Season 15: All-Stars on Monday, October 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
