We nearly burst into tears last night when we found out that we have to wait until April 19 for a new episode of Hellcats. That's, like, forever! What gives?
As it turns out, Hellcats isn't the only show taking an extended spring break. In fact, all of The CW faves, like 90210 and Smallville, are also entering the dreaded rerun zone until the third week in April. Basically, if Hellcats aired its remaining new episodes back to back, the season would be done before May, which means the freshman drama wouldn't have a chance to compete in May Sweeps. Not good. While some other series opt to alternate new episodes with reruns every other week, The CW treats us to a slew of new episodes all in a row, followed by a big break in March and part of April. The good news is, once Hellcats returns on April 19, we'll have brand new hours up until the finale!
While it's a major bummer that we won't have any new developments from Lancer University for a while, at least The CW will be airing some reruns, which will give others a chance to catch up. Once Hellcats does return, Aly's sister AJ will finally make her debut! Plus, last night's trailer teased that things might be heating up between Marti and her hottie law professor, Julian. If that's not worth waiting for, we don't know what is!
