Who could forget Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock’s brother, Nathan? Last season when Bachelor Sean Lowe visited the final four at home, Nathan made it clear he thought Sean was nothing but a “playboy.”
“I believe that she’s really into you but you’re not into her,” he said. “You’re just having fun with the circumstances. Whatever comes along, just have fun there then go to the next one and have fun.”
The encounter didn’t go over well with Sean and Desiree went home, deflowered at the next rose ceremony. Coincidence? Probably not.
Now that girlfriend’s taken the bouquet into her own hands, when can we expect to see Nathan return to whip her men-testants into shape?
Well, according to part-time host and full-time gossip Chris Harrison, there was talk that maybe Nathan wouldn’t be featured this season — at all.
“The interesting dilemma this year is when do we introduce him to her significant others. Do we at all? Do we just cut him out of this?” Chris told USA Today.
Cut him out? Seems a tad harsh, don’t you think, Christopher?
“But I think he’s an important part of her life, and that’s family. That’s the beauty of this. You can’t fake family. You can’t hide them. None of us can.” Thanks for clarifying, Chris... or, whatever that cryptic message means. (Harrison: If you ever want to talk, feel free to call.)
To further justify what sounds like an explosive upcoming visit from Nathan, Chris explains, “Her brother is important to her so yeah he’s going to have a say in this. He will definitely be in this show and he’ll meet her significant others and it’s going to be interesting.”
We hope by “interesting,” Chris means Nathan lines up the remaining contestants, exposes their flaws, and then releases a hit single inspired by a certain Soulja Boy jam.
