While TMZ reports that Glee is safe from cancellation, we haven’t heard anything yet about Lea’s plans to return or leave the show. We honestly don’t know how the show will deal appropriately with this tragic loss. But one thing we do know is that Glee’s writers and producers are already working on a plan to address Cory and Finn’s sudden departure.
"The producers and writers are taking time to meet and figure out how to best address this situation in the context of Glee,” a source tells TMZ. “No decision has been reached about a script yet, as it’s still early."
Although many fans feel that Glee has not dealt well with tragedy in past episodes, those scenarios — attempted suicide, a car accident, a school shooting — were all hypotheticals, things that could happen in a high schooler’s life. And as any Glee and Cory fan will tell you, there is nothing realer than the feelings and situation happening right now.
How do you think Glee should address Finn Hudson’s departure from the show? Please weigh in with your thoughtful responses below.
