Will Jenelle Evans’s Latest Drug Arrest Hurt Her Custody Plans?

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has been trying her best as of the last few months to be a better mother to her 4-year-old son, Jace. Not only has this little lady been more active in his life, she’s enrolled him in swimming classes, cares for the kiddo on the weekends, and even threw him a Spiderman themed birthday! But it seems like things may change in light of Jenelle’s recent news.

The reality TV star attended a court hearing on August 12 to face charges stemming from her April 2013 arrest. While Jenelle was reportedly slapped with an 18-month probation and no jail time (for pleading guilty to possession), she was given an unexpected drug test. When Jenelley failed, she threw fans for a loop — especially since she claims she’s been sober since November 2012.

Jenelle says that someday soon she’d like to regain custody of her son, who is currently in the care of her mother, Barbara Evans. But now that it’s known the Teen Mom isn’t staying sober as she says she is, we can imagine that this little white lie will throw a wrench in her plans.

Not only can this shocking revelation cause Barbara to revoke Jace’s weekend visits to his mom’s house in Myrtle Beach, but it can also prompt Babs to deem Jenelle unfit to have custody of her son … maybe ever!

We don’t know how Jenelle plans to bounce back from this hiccup, but this little lady loves her kiddo and has declared that she was going to clean up her act to be parent for him. But as it is, fans have already noted that Jenelley’s late night partying and “occasional drinking” already has her appearing like a “bad” mom, and this latest indiscretion doesn’t look too good for the Teen Mom.

Do you think Jenelle will ever custody of Jace in light of her latest arrest? Tell us below!
