After taking a bit of time off in December, Ravenswoodis back with all new episodes, and ratings are up! For its January 6 episode, the Tyler Blackburn (Caleb)-fronted series switched to Tuesday nights. That means for the rest of the season it will air right after Pretty Little Liars.
Fans might not be on board with Caleb’s recent breakup with Hanna (Ashley Benson), but they definitely seem on board with the timeslot switch. Season 1, Episode 6: "Revival" was the number one show at 9 p.m. in three different demographics: females 12-34, viewers 12-34, and female cable viewers 18-34.
What’s more, the show also snagged the #3 cable spot in women 18-34 for all of Tuesday. The total number of viewers who tuned in to watch this week’s return was 1.7 million, which is a full 31% increase from its average fall episodes. Once you factor in DVR viewings, Ravenswood’s numbers increase significantly.
Its parent show, Pretty Little Liars, had an even bigger night, landing the #1 spot for women 18-34 and a number of other female and youth demos. PLL’s winter return was also the most-tweeted season premiere in TV history. Pretty “A”-mazing, don’t you think?
