Downton Abbey Hits the Road — See Costumes From the Show!
Looking to get up close and personal with Downton Abbey? Then book your plane tickets now. Costumes from the hit period drama are coming to Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library in Wilmington, Delaware. We hear it’s beautiful this time of year.
The exhibit will run March 1, 2014, through January 4, 2015, which is perfect for American fans of the show, since PBS will have just wrapped Season 4 and we’ll be eagerly awaiting the start of the recently announced Season 5. Smart move, Winterthur exhibit planners!
Set to be on display are “40 costumes and accessories worn upstairs and downstairs” (we’re about 99.9 percent sure they mean in the house and not, you know, underwear). The gear comes courtesy of Cosprop, leading entertainment costumier and maker of dreams come true.
