Co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have already hinted that the two will cross over at some point, but not in that Snow White will stumble down the rabbit hole. However, the pilot starts with a very familiar face — or well, a creepy shadowy face.
"Wonderland takes place post-curse, so the pilot actually starts when magic comes and the Wraith happens," Edward explained to TV Guide The site notes that because of where it picks up, fans will see a “different character's point of view that won't make you angry.” Hmm. When the Wraith came, Regina and Rumple were the evil ones that angered us, and Emma and Snow White were the ones lost in the Enchanted Forest, so what could this mean? Is it just a new character who won’t make us upset, or is this hinting that we’ll see young Cora involved? Does that timeline even match up?
We won’t worry too much about it yet, and instead focus on the other lands that will be popping up. TV Guide says, “Also look for the spin-off to feature other lands in a mash-up style similar to Once that may make you question who a past character really was.” Again, we’re thinking this has to be Cora, but it could be someone connected with the Wonderland universe, too.
There are so many questions swirling in our minds, but unfortunately, we have to wait until the fall to get some answers! Are you excited about this OUAT and Wonderland connection? Sound off below!
