Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was a huge hit for moviegoers this weekend, grossing $424.1 million worldwide, but it was a bomb with the critics, only achieving 29 percent Rotten Tomatoes score. (Cue Sad Affleck here.)

So how do those results rank with other best-earning, worst-reviewed movies?

For this (very unscientific) study, we took the worldwide opening weekend box office grosses for the movies in Box Office Mojo’s top 50 and divided them by the movies’ Rotten Tomatoes scores. The bigger the resulting number, the more money wasted.

If you saw these movies in theaters, we’re sorry for your loss.
