Since stepping back from Glee after a solid three seasons on the show, Dianna Agron (Quinn) has made several movies and gotten involved in a slew of other projects, but it’s safe to say that she will always have a passion for music no matter where Tinseltown takes her.
Dianna is currently shooting the romantic comedy Tumbledown, also starring Jason Sudeikis and Joe Manganiello, in Massachusetts and in a recent interview with Popsugar she revealed that the shoot has been wonderful so far. “It’s really fun, and I also didn’t realize how funny my character could be,” she dished, surprised at her own sense of humor. “So we’ve been filming these things and people have been laughing a lot at me and I was like, ‘Wait, Jason’s right here. I’m like, Oh I’m funny? Amazing!’”
Oh Di, you’re a riot!
But before she trades in her acting chops for a career in standup comedy, we’re curious to know if she’d ever take a page out of the Glee cast handbook and consider releasing her own album. Naya Rivera (Santana), Lea Michele (Rachel), and several other members of the FOX dramedy’s cast have already taken that next big leap (with varying results) so would Dianna ever follow in their footsteps and release an album of her own?
“Yeah, who knows?” she wondered. “I mean it would definitely be something really small and indie and just fun for me.”
Dianna may not be quite ready to release an album of her own just yet, but if Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy gets his way and she comes back for a least part of the show’s sixth and final season, maybe that’ll be enough to convince her that releasing some of her own tunes would be a great idea.
Do you think Dianna should come out with her own album, or would it be better for her to stick to TV and movies? Tell us what you think below!
