We know that Kandi Burruss has written tons of hits for various popular artists, but we didn't realize that she is responsible for one of our all-time favorite tunes from boy band 'N Sync! During a recent exchange on Twitter, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star confirmed that she is the songwriter who penned the group's hit, "It Makes Me Ill," off their 2000 album, No Strings Attached.
One of Kandi's followers on the social media network tweeted, "Wow @Kandi wrote NSYNC's Make Me Ill!," to which Kandi responded, "Yes! They were great to work with."
The song is about a heartbroken dude who is sick to his stomach over his ex-girlfriend having a new man in her life. But, at the same time, he's happy to have met him since it made him realize that the competition is "slim to none."
Actually, Kandi didn't just write the catchy song — she also produced it.
Other songs that Kandi can take writing credit for include Pink's "There You Go," Destiny's Child "Bills, Bills, Bills" and "Bug a Boo," and most famously, TLC's huge 1999 hit, "No Scrubs," which was a No. 1 single for the girl group.
And, of course, who can forget Kim Zolciak's super catchy anthem, "Tardy for the Party," which ended up becoming the name of her spin-off show on Bravo, Don't Be Tardy.
