Louis Tomlinson took to Twitter to express his frustration after rival boy band The Wanted dissed One Direction in a radio interview.

Although he should be thinking about his group's upcoming world tour and new album, Louis couldn't help but tweet this:

Earlier in the week, Jay McGuiness of The Wanted said this about One Direction on an Australian morning show: "You hear comments in interviews, and they wind you up and vice versa... It's kind of fake, and then also a few of the lads have wound me up personally."

Max George, also of The Wanted," said, "I don't mind a couple of them... I don't mind Harry (Styles)." Apparently he admires Harry's way with the ladies, calling him a "top shagger."

"I think he's retained manners and a bit of dignity, (but) some of them when they mouth off, it really gets under my skin," Jay responded. "Because it riles up loads of 14-year-old girls, (and) there's no need for that."

Uh oh, it sounds like we have a boy band battle on our hands.

While Louis didn't mention Jay or his band by name, we can only speculate that they are his intended targets.

Will these two boy bands ever get along?
