On the X Factor 2013 auditions episode September 18, we fell a little bit in love with a darling dude. And no, of course we're not talking about Simon Cowell. It was 14-year-old Josh Levi who knocked our socks off with his mature and creative take on a pop hit we've heard a billion times.

The young teenager moved to Los Angeles from Houston (yes, Kelly Rowland gave their shared Texas love a big shout) three months ago to pursue his dream of stardom, and it seems like he's well on his way. His R&B rendition of Selena Gomez's chart-topping "Come and Get It" got rave reviews from the judges.

Demi was awestruck by Josh's version of her friend's song, waving her arms and singing along with Kelly. When he finished, she said "That was ammmmmaing! When you started singing, I wasn't prepared for it! I'm impressed with what you did with this song. It showed that not only can you sing, you're an artist."

Kelly said simply, "you're a star."

Watch the video and then check the spoilers to see whether he makes the Top 16
