What's there to know about Restless Road? Plenty. The country trio comes courtesy of The X Factor with each member —  Zach Beeken, Colton Pack, and Andrew Scholz — auditioning separately before the entertainment genius that is Simon Cowell saw the money-making possibility at hand.

Throw three hot guys together, dress 'em in denim, turn up their sexy twangs, and what do you have? Just the best boy band country music never knew it needed. (And here's why we think that's a winning combination.)

So far, the group has been a favorite both with fans and with the judges. After their knockout performance of Katy Perry's "Roar" (Zach dropping into that lower register got all the gals a-screamin'!), Simon picked Restless Road first out of his three groups to advance to the Top 12. Don't worry. We think you're good too, Alex & Sierra and Sweet Suspense.

Although Zach, Colton, and Andrew work great as a group, they come from very different backgrounds. Zach's 18 and hails from Indiana, Pennsylvania, and, according to his Twitter, "sing[s] like a girl" (we beg to differ, Zach). Eighteen-year-old Colton is from Danese, West Virginia, and first started singing at the ripe old age of three. Andrew, 19, is a good Southern boy from Summerville, South Carolina, with a major sweet tooth, judging from his Twitter feed.

All three are big into social media so commence your stalking now, Restless Road fans (Roadies?). Here are some helpful links: Zach Beeken on Twitter, ColtonPack.com, Andrew Scholz on Twitter, Colton Pack on Twitter.

In their latest round of live performances, the boys took on Motown with Lionel Richie's "Easy Like Sunday Morning" and proved they don’t just do country!

However, the fellas decided to return to familiar territory for the unplanned November 7 performances following a tech glitch in the week's voting. They gave Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson's "Don't You Want to Stay Here a Little While" an airing but unfortunately, sounded a bit off to their mentor Simon. W

But the Roadies rallied and kept the trio in to the next week. For '80s Night they lent their particular style to Kenny Loggins's "Footloose" and has us all dancing in our seats...and Restless Road right into the Top 10. The next week the group took on a much more subdued number: Coldplay's "Fix You." The judges admitted there was a little to fix about the performance but the boys made it through to the Top 8 where they performed "Life Is A Highway" in front of a live band.

Thanks to that performance, the boys survived the Thanksgiving night elimination to make it to the Top 6 where they performed two songs: "Red" by Taylor Swift and "Wake Me Up" by Avicii. Did you have a favorite because America seemed to like both? On December 5, the boys qualified for the Top 4. Way to go, fellas!

Speaking of the semis, the boys performed three songs on December 11. The first: Luke Bryan's "That's My Kind of Night." It was a strong start, which was good because their duet with Jeff Gutt of The Police's "Every Breath You Take" could have used some work. The boys finished strong, however, with Hunter Hayes's "Wanted." What say you, America? Do you want Restless Road in the finals?

Sadly, the answer appears to be no with the boys sent packing during the December 12 elimination. But as Simon put it, their journey isn't over yet!
