Inquiring minds want to know: Who is Josh Levi, a contestant so special he was brought back to X Factor 2013 Live Shows during the November 6 episode?

Deemed a "wildcard" contestant, Josh is technically back under the tutelage of judge Paulina Rubio, who, if she isn't careful, is going to get a reputation for fickleness when it comes to X Factor contestants (coughTim Olstadcough).

Josh's return to the show officially bumps the Top 12 up by one and makes the competition all the more heated as the contestants battle to keep their spots on the X stage.

For his part, Josh proved he's here to stay by kicking off the November 6 Live Show with a soulful rendition of The Jackson 5's "Who's Loving You."

"I am extremely impressed. You just showed me that you will have a long career," judge Demi Lovato gushed after Josh's performance. "It was the smartest thing Paulina did, bringing you back."

"I am so happy that you're here," added Kelly Rowland. "Houston, Texas, grows 'em best, baby!"

Even Simon Cowell had something nice to say: "You went literally from last week to this week from zero to hero. Seriously."

Josh once again brought his A-game when the Top 13 had to perform new songs after a tech error with the November 6 voting. His rendition of Rihanna's "Stay" further proved he’s back and ready to win! He did end up staying (see what we did there?) for another week and once again showed his pop music magic with Paula Abdul's "Straight Up". The judges loved it and so did America.

As a member of the Top 10, Josh performed Eurythmics's "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)" for his British Invasion number and continued his streak of strong numbers. Now in the Top 8, Josh took on Bruno Mars's "Treasure," a fast-paced performance he dedicated to his beloved grandma. He's talented and sweet!

But Josh, sadly, didn't make it into the Top 6, eliminated during the Thanksgiving night double elimination. You'll be missed, Josh!
