Two double eliminations in back-to-back weeks?! Are the folks over at X Factor trying to stress us out? Sigh. Well, at least they gave us One Direction to look at during the nerve-racking hour...

Okay, enough daydreaming about 1D. During the November 21 show, two more contestants went home packing, knocking the numbers down from the Top 10 to the Top 8. Who goes home?

Unfortunately, the first cut came quick and fast with Mario Lopez announcing the sad news that Khaya Cohen wouldn't be seeing the next round. The New York native was in the Bottom Two last week against Rachel Potter and despite being saved by the judges just couldn't seem to win over America this week. Well, good luck to you, Khaya, and like your mentor, Demi Lovato, said, keep singing!

Next came the night's Bottom Two, who got a chance to perform a "Save Me Song" before the judges made their final decision. Facing off this week: Carlito Olivero and Tim Olstad, which meant a battle between Paulina Rubio's Boys.

Tim started off with "You Raise Me Up" as made famous by Josh Groban. A thousand candles lit up behind him while an invisible choir joined in on the Save Me action. Carlito took a different approach by wooing the ladies with Labrinth's "Beneath Your Beautiful." He even got up close and personal with the female judges during the number.

Both acts wrapped, and the judges had a chance to weigh in with Kelly Rowland complimenting both boys on the sincerity in their songs. However, she picked Tim to send home. Demi also decided Tim's time was done, which wasn't exactly a surprise after the harsh critiques she's given him in weeks past. Then the boys's mentor, Paulina, had to cast her vote.It was a tough choice but she ended up cutting Tim from the competition with Simon's pick going unheard.

That means Carlito's going to the Top 8, and this time around we don't think Paulina will be calling Tim back. Ah well. Good try, Tim!

After this week's round of eliminations the teams stand as follows:

Boys (Paulina Rubio)Carlito OliveroJosh Levi

Girls (Demi Lovato)Ellona SantiagoRion Paige

Over 25s (Kelly Rowland): Jeff Gutt, Lillie McCloud

Groups (Simon Cowell)Restless RoadAlex & Sierra

What do you make of the final decisions? Both good calls, one doesn't make sense, or totally blindsided by the whole show? Sound off in the comments below!
