As an extra curve ball for the last week of pre-finale Season 3 Live Shows, The X Factor pitted the final four contestants against one another in a sing-off. Sound kinda familiar? Yeah, okay so maybe other music competition shows do something similar… but as we were saying, the duets gave America a chance to see who can shine under pressure and get a good look at the Top 4 remaining contestants.

First off, Alex & Sierra versus Carlito Olivero, who dueted on Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová’s “Falling Slowly” from Once. Carlito started strong before Sierra swept in and ended up stealing the show. All four judges were wowed by the performance and gave particular props to both Carlito and Sierra (you were great, too, Alex!).

Next up, Jeff Gutt faced off with Restless Road. Typically we’d say a three against one fight isn’t fair, but Jeff held his own against the country trio (true, it might have helped that they sang The Police's rock classic “Every Breath You Take”).

It was a tough challenge and didn't exactly make our job of picking the Top 3 any easier. But we do have our opinions! Share yours in the polls below. Pick the act you think took each round and share your feels in the comments.
