Have you been watching X Factor all season, and practically losing your ish because you know that you’re soooo much better than all the contestants? Well, rein it in, grasshopper. Nobody likes a show-off (unless you’re, like twelve) and no one will vote for you if you’re a total d-bag. But if you think you have what it takes, you’d better put your mic where your mouth is and sing about it.

So, how exactly do you do that? Easy peasy. Starting TODAY, you can submit a two-minute a cappella audition video online. The deadline is June 15, 2013, so even you HUGE slackers have time to make it (but if you’re procrastinating that much, you probably don’t want it enough... just sayin’).

Not into the internet? (Then how are you reading this?) NBD! 12-year-olds and older can mosey on down to IRL auditions in select cities to show what they’ve got. This year, those are in Los Angeles, CA (March 6th); Charleston, SC (March 19th); New Orleans, LA (April 14th); Long Island, NY (April 25th); and Denver, CO (May 14th).

Good luck!
