Remember when Tyra Banks wrote the Pulitzer Prize winning novel, Modelland, and you thought life couldn't get any better? After all, what could possibly top the epic tale of Tookie De La Crème and her albino sista-friend, Piper?

Well, clearly you've overlooked the imaginative mind of Britney Spears. The Queen of Pop is ready to venture into the world of fiction, and she's officially in talks to pen a novel with It Books, a division of HarperCollins.

Britney's rep tells The Hollywood Reporter that she's having "discussions" with the publishers, who have also released autobiographies by musicians like Sammy Hagar, The Game, Slash and Motley Crue. Apparently, Britney's venture into wordsmithery will be somewhat like The Hills star Lauren Conrad's –– a fictionalized version of her real life experiences with stardom.

Here's to hoping we can look forward to some amazing name changes. Pleased to meet you, Melvin Lederfine.
