Britney she ain’t, but Demi Lovato can cry all the way to the bank.

The 19-year-old starlet, who was just confirmed as a judge on The X Factor, won’t get anywhere near her fellow judge’s salary — Britney Spears's deal is for a reported $15 million — but Demi will make $1 million for the season, according to TMZ. Still pretty good money for sitting in a comfy chair and judging people.

Despite her relatively small payday, Demi appears to be psyched about the gig: She’s pledged to schedule her tour dates around X Factor tapings.


Hmm, wonder if Demi and Britney will get along. Is it hard to be sweet to a coworker when you know that she’s literally worth 15 of you?
