Is One Direction British? You Asked, We Answered!
This is a good question, dear X Factor fans, because it is very easily answered! So is boy band One Direction British?
Let's start with this: One Direction got its start on Season 7 of The X Factor UK in 2010, though they did not win (they placed third). If their origin doesn't give you a clue as to whether they are British or not, here's a breakdown of the five band members and what countries they were born in:
- Niall Horan - Ireland
- Zayn Malik - England
- Liam Payne - England
- Harry Styles - England
- Louis Tomlinson - England
Thanks to the information above from Wikipedia, we can safely say that 1D is mostly British, but technically they are British-Irish. There, you have your answer — now you can finally sleep at night!
