We’ve heard rumors that big stars will be performing on this season of The X Factor. And, with megastars Britney Spears and Demi Lovato on the judges’ panel, it’s hard to imagine that the season won’t be packed with killer performances.

Well, hold on to your jaws, folks, because the first big act has been announced and it’s a doozy. According to a press release from FOX, the biggest band in the world — One Direction — will be performing THIS WEEK on the Thursday November 8 live results show!

Not only that, but the boys with the hair from across the pond will be performing two songs on the show — “Little Things” and “Live While We’re Young.” Zayn Malik said in a press release, “Having come from the U.K. X Factor, we can’t wait to perform on the U.S. stage – it’s going to be a great night!”

Niall Horan added, “It’ll be the first time we’ve performed in front of ‘Uncle Si’ since we were on the U.K. X Factor. So, hopefully, we’ll make him proud!”

We can’t wait to see Demi fangirl.
