Simon Cowell has his work cut out for him when it comes to choosing between the Top 8 girls who performed in Part One and Part Two of the judges' houses round on The X Factor. His controversial fave Tiah Tolliver was there, along with uber-talented youngsters Rachel Crow and Drew Ryniewicz. But then there was also hottie rugby coach Caitlin Koch, the painfully-insecure-until-she-opens-her-mouth-and-sings Jazzlyn Little, among others. But for a seasoned pro like Simon, choosing the brightest of potential stars should be a walk in the park, right?

Wrong.

"I thought it was going to be, 'I know who the three are, the fourth I won't care about' but I could make a case for seven out of the eight and that's difficult because I have to find four," he confessed in a video on The X Factor's official YouTube page. "I know I'll change my mind right up until the end. I didn't think I'd get this emotionally involved but I am. The idea of having to say to these people... I'm not looking forward to it at all."

Aww, have the girls lit a tiny fire within SiCo's icy heart? Are we about to see him get sort of — gulp — fatherly and adorable in his mentoring? Well, as adorable as Simon can manage.

Judges will reveal their choices on Tuesday, October 18. Who do YOU think should get the chance to move on to the live shows?
