X Factor’s first live show made American Idol look like your grandma after she’s had too much brisket. There was no time for lollygagging around, with Steve Jones quickly moving the show along between performances and eliminations...and we liked it! What we didn’t like? Well, that “weird milkshake” (as Simon Cowell described it) known as Dexter Haygood’s Britney Spears/Katy Perry mash-up.

It’s so hard to say goodbye to the hopeful, formerly homeless Dexter (The Brewer Boys will be aight) but we suspect this wont be the last we see of him. For now, (re)watch all the good, bad, and meh from this week’s X Factor live show below!
