UPDATE: Lyric 145 has been eliminated from X Factor Season 2.

Hometown:
Flint, MI
Age: 23
Audition City: Greensboro, NC

X Factor hopeful Lyric Da Queen is fierce — she can rhyme, flow, and swagger with the best of them. No wonder because Lyric (real name, Bianca Barnes) began rapping in early elementary school! You’d never know it, though, based on the, erm, colorful content of her material!

Her original mixtape My Time Iz Now Vol. 1 came out in 2011 on the indie label Gangsta Grillz, and since she’s continued working on two new recordings — The Beats Iz Mine, Vol. 1, and My Time Iz Now, Vol. 2 — both scheduled to come out in late 2012. That’s right — girlfriend is prolific!

Lyric’s influences are Jadakiss, Andre 3000, and Eminem — notice the lack of female rappers on this list? Part of what makes Lyric’s style so unique is that she channels serious star power and machismo in a petite package.

We’re excited to see how far Lyric Da Queen goes in the competition!
