"Saula" supporters might shed a tear, but X Factor judge Paula Abdul is happily dating a new man — and it's not Simon Cowell!

Paula's fancy fella is record company executive Jeff Bratton. Paula and Jeff got close this spring when she worked with Shine 2009, a band on Jeff's label, Cascine.

The duo were first spied together at Indochine in New York City. "They sat in a booth with a guy friend," spilled an eyewitness to Life & Style. "It was a mellow, low-key dinner, and they were attentive to each other."

We hope Simon isn't too heartbroken.
