Britney Spears and Demi Lovato said some negative things about them during Boot Camp, but the sisters of Sister C have gotten mad props from their mentor, Simon Cowell so far. So, who are these three ladies with the beguiling harmonies?

Well, let’s start with their names. Celbi, Carli, and Cirby Manchaca (who are ages 17-21) are from the small town of Mont Belvieu, TX. We had the chance to talk to the girls and were impressed by their sweetness and candid opinions on the competition so far.

The ladies of Sister C grew up singing together in a group, and apart. The younger two — Carli and Celbi — sang together in middle school while Cirby spent more time on the solo track.

Besides being well-dressed and pretty, these ladies also seem super appreciative of the experience, calling it “completely unreal.” So, what kind of music do they hope to make? “Rootsy country,” Celbi told us, adding that they hope to emulate groups like The Dixie Chicks.

As for their biggest competition, she sites Lyric 145 as bringing “so much fun to the table,” and the girl group (now called 1432), as they’re “pretty much the girl version of One Direction.”

We can’t wait to see more of them — and their cute outfits — on the show.
