With a name like Tiger Budbill, he’s gotta be destined for some kind of fame, right? After seeing his terrific performance on Day 1 of Boot Camp, we found ourselves kind of rooting for the 42-year-old wedding DJ from Seattle. His audition, in which he sang “What’s Going On” was just a’ight for us — oops, we slipped into Randyspeak and this isn’t Idol — but we loved his take on Five for Fighting’s “Superman,” during which he was grouped with one of our other faves, Josh Krajcik.

In snooping around for more info on Tiger, here’s what we learned:

Dude has worked everywhere. According to his Facebook, Tiger has a list of employers a mile long, including restaurants, fast food joints, catering companies, grocery stores, a roller rink and a real estate company. Ah, the life of a struggling artist!

He’s hosted beauty pageants, too! Event Source Northwest has him listed as available for hosting duties, and mentions his experience “hosting beauty pageants, auctions, and other types of events around the country.” Maybe if he doesn’t succeed as a contestant, he could join Steve as a co-host!

He’s into photography. He has a couple of albums on his Facebook dedicated to his photography. Lots of flowers and fruit and sunsets, with the occasional scantily-clad woman thrown in for good measure! Also on Facebook...

An album devoted to his “mascot days” which includes pics of him with such luminaries as Elvira and Kenny G.
