So long, Vino Alan. That tattooed soul singer who could finally couldn’t convince The X Factor Season 2 judges to keep him around. Battling Diamond White for a spot in the Top 6, Vino soulfully covered Ray LaMontagne’s “Trouble” for the second time (the first was in his audition). LA and Demi Lovato both voted to send Vino home, and Simon Cowell was the deciding vote — a decision that didn’t come easy to him (or any of the judges).

For the second week in a row, little Carly Rose Sonenclar topped Tate Stevens and landed the top spot — but only by a tenth of a percentage of the votes.
