The X Factor 2013 is almost upon us, and you know what that means. Time to down a bunch of Pepsi Dragon, memorize the lyrics to "MMMBop" by The Hanson Brothers, and audition for television's most popular talent-based competition.

Fox is already hosting auditions for
The X Factor's upcoming season, a slew of which recently took place at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York (April 23-25). Apparently, New Yorkers want nothing more than to get an up-close and personal view of Simon Cowell's chest hair, because the auditions were jam-packed with hopeful starlets. In fact, 16,000 brave souls showed up for one audition day at Nassau, which is the largest turnout in the history of the show!

Each contestant had just 90 seconds to showcase their talents, and those lucky few who are chosen will go on to perform for the likes of
Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell, who are both signed on as judges during the upcoming season. No word yet as to who might replace L.A. Reid and Britney Spears' empty judges seats, but rumor has it that former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland could be a contender, as well as Reba McEntire and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
