This X Factor hiatus is killing us softly with its lack of songs. We can't wait for Simon Cowell and his homies to return with a vengeance for X Factor 2013, but apparently there are some major changes afoot –– and we're not just talking about the fact that both Britney Spears and L.A. Reid have quit the show. Simon recently took it to Twitter to muse about The X Factor's upcoming third season, and he says fans can expect a huge mix-up!
"There will be a lot of changes on X factor uk and USA," Simon tweeted on March 19th. "But good changes. I feel excited for both shows this year."
These changes could be anything from a switcheroo in how the judging goes down, to how many members are on a team, to the prize itself –– though we doubt The X Factor executives would nix the album deal –– in fact, Simon says that Tate Stevens has already laid down his tracks! "Tates album is finished," Simon tweeted. "Did some radio with him last week. He is the most genuine guy."
Meanwhile, X Factor runners up Emblem3 and Fifth Harmony are also hard at work in the studio. "The first emblem 3 single arrived a week ago," Simon added. "It is fantastic. And fifth harmony are going from strength to strength. Single soon."
OMG! In the words of that one extremely excited fan-girl from Tate's home town, "I GOT A PUPPY NAMED TATER!" Are you as pumped as we are for this cowboy's album? And what changes do you think are coming to X Factor USA?
