First Steve Jones, Then Nicole Scherzinger, Now Paula Abdul Is Out

Fox spokespeople have confirmed Nicole Scherzinger won't be asked to return to The X Factor as a judge (or host) in Season 2. Widely blamed as the reason much-loved Season 1 contestant Rachel Crow was eliminated before her time and much derided for her seeing disinterest in the talent she was mentoring, it seemed only a matter of time.

So, Steve Jones out, Nicole Scherzinger out. Who will replace them?

Now TV Line is reporting Paula Abdul is out too, but Fox has not yet confirmed. What a shake-up!
